Hi, I'm Michael Sulyak 👋

I’m a software engineer with over 8 years of experience building reliable and scalable backend systems. I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from creating products from scratch to improving and maintaining existing ones. My main tools are Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and Docker, but I’m always open to learning and using new technologies when the project calls for it. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with great teams, solve challenging problems, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Outside of work, I love creating things. Whether it’s coding personal projects or experimenting with electronics, I enjoy the process of building something from the ground up. I’m especially interested in home automation and often work on microcontroller-based projects to make my home smarter or more efficient. I’ve also developed Telegram bots and even a generative AI chatbot as assistants. These side projects are not just fun but also a great way to keep learning and exploring new ideas.

I’m always curious and eager to improve. For me, software development is as much about the journey as the result—learning, experimenting, and finding better ways to solve problems. I enjoy the challenge of turning ideas into something real and useful, whether it’s for work or just for fun.
